AN OVERKILL OF OVERKILL NEWS

So Overkill’s new album, Ironbound, was released yesterday on E1, and they’re pulling out all the stops to promote it: the entire album is streaming here, and the first video from the record, for the song “Bring Me the Night,” is after the jump. I assumed that song was about was about Bobby Blitz being really angry about how terrible The Happening was, but I guess it’s actually about standing in front of a wall of big lights. Which is understandable. I wouldn’t be able to sleep if there was all that light in the room, either.

      Nah definatley not the worst, it wasn good either but def not the worst, that goes to zoolander maybe the worst movie of all time.

        Zoolander was decent… But The Happening makes it look like Groundhog Day. M. Night went from making one of the best movies of all time to making most fucking likely the worst major studio film of all time.

    Overkill is always good. The only downside i find with them is uninspired solos.

    for those who happened to have read blabbermouth today (specifically the mustaine post), you might have seen the post about the overkill banner being overkill. I wonder if someone read the title here and copied it, or vice versa. going by the time-stamp on this article and the blabbermouth post, I’m going to have to side with Metalsucks on this one. good day.

    i wan’t overly impressed. first time I have heard Overkill. I’ll give it another spin. (didn’t get into metal till ’90-’92)
