NIGHTRAGE ARE WEARING YO MAMA’S CROWN

Yeah, I dunno why I chose that headline, either.

ANYWAY, here’s Nightrage’s video for “Wearing a Martyr’s Crown.” It seems to have a nearly identical concept to that Novembers Doom video I posted yesterday: performance footage of the band made to look all static-y ’cause the director had no other ideas about how to make the visuals interesting. The difference is that this clip has a slightly more professional glean about it than the ND vid, but that ain’t saying much.

This is the title track from Nightrage’s latest, which is out now on Lifeforce.

    I fucking loved Nightrage’s Sweet Vengeance, but the material after that was pretty uninspired, in my opinion, and this doesn’t redeem them.

    What else to expect from a superband, though? Excuse me, I think I’m gonna go listen to the outro riff from “The Tremor” yet again.

    A cheap video is better than no video, or maybe bands who don’t have the budget of say, In Flames shouldn’t bother making vids?
