For literally freezing her ass off in the name of metal, Ashley gets a care package in the mail full of various metal goodies.

    Nice to see a little home town action ! I’ve never seen her at any shows, though. I assume it’s because she wants to advertize this site, I doubt she has good taste in music either. Probably frequents the hipster/beardo shows and is scared of teh real metal.

            W.A.S.P. rules !! Im not too uberkvlt to enjoy some good old fashioned METAL. Good riffs, good hooks,good chorus’s, GREAT vocals…. what’s not like ?! Have you people ever heard ‘Wild Child’ or ‘L.O.V.E. Machine’ ????

            I’ve seen Amon Amarth about 4 times many years ago (not by choice…they just kept playing with bands I liked) and they were really boring. I don’t hate them….they just don’t do much for me. I actually partied with them one night as well back in 2003. They are great guys, but their music is painfully bland to my ears.

            What about Order From Chaos / Ares Kingdom ? Going to that ? It’s at Reggies and will be the show of the year without a doubt.

            I’d like to go to the Order From Chaos show, but I probably won’t make it. It’s cheap and all, but that show’s actually the day after my birthday, I have a bunch of friends coming into town and I will probably be very hungover and hanging out with them. Besides, I really wouldn’t call that “show of the year.” It’s only March, ffs, cool down on the superlatives.

            Maybe because WASP puts out some good heavy metal and Amon Amarth releases the same decent Melodeath song 500 times? I mean, hell, I listened to With Odin a bunch of times when it came out, and Twilight was a let down after that. AA is really nothing to write home about. Fun live though.

            Hangover or not, there is NO excuse to miss Order From Chaos !! What a legendary band…they’ve been broken up for 15 years ! Never thought I would get a chance to see them live. Also, Ares Kingdom is an amazing band if you haven’t heard them. Seek out their new album, Incendiary… you will not be dissapointed ! Besides Iron Maiden, I can’t imagine anything matching this show.
