“Scum Will Rise” is a minute-long IED blast of crusty powerviolence and oldschool Napalm Death-influenced grind. Fans of Brutal Truth, Fuck The Facts, Pig Destroyer, and United Nations should find this to their liking. But don’t just take my word for it; TAKE A LEAK!

    Maybe I haven’t heard it yet, but can anybody show me a song by United Nations that can legitimately be called powerviolence? All I’ve heard is post-hardcore that is a tad extreme at times, nothing beyond Converge-extreme though.

      It doesn’t exist that I know of. I’m not sure why they got thrown into the powerviolence genre in the first place. Post-hardcore? Absolutely, and probably one of the best post-hardcore bands ever to be put to record. Then again considering who’s in the band I’d expect nothing less.

      Also, Nails are awesome as hell. Love the Entombed style production as well.
