As part of our ongoing effort to bring brutal metal tours to you, our deserving (sometimes) readership, MetalSucks and Decibel are proud to present a Spring headline run featuring technical death metal legends Pestilence, their first US tour in over 16 years! The 17-date journey will kick off in Baltimore as part of the Maryland Deathfest on May 30th and close at the Gramercy Theater in New York City on June 17. Support will be provided by Warbringer, Vital Remains, Enfold Darkness and Sacrificial Slaughter. Advance tickets will go on sale for all shows via http://enterthevault.com starting today.

That’s a killer lineup. All dates are posted after the jump. Before you Floridians bitch about how there aren’t any Florida dates, you should know two things: 1) we have zero control over the cities and venues that the tours we sponsor play, and 2) face it, Florida is out of the way, dude.

Onwards…

    Flordia: America’s Cock

    • http://thenumberoftheblog.com/ groverXIII

Also known as Florida. Also known as groverXIII types too fast for his own brain.

      • Discipleofthewatch

Well, Flordia has a nice ring to it. It does have the honor(?) of being the only state with its own Fark tag.

  • Ziltoid

They better be playing old stuff. Regardless, I’ll probably go.

  • Cryzthormagnusian

I don’t know why I bother checking dates anymore. No one comes to South Florida anymore.

Huh, add me to the bitch fest, but the only tour I’ve seen on here recently with shows in the south was Nile, and they were formed about 2 hours from where I live(Killer show by the way). I’ll have to see how far away Chatanooga is from the chateau, but it’s probably too far to go see these guys(especially with no warbringer). It’s not just florida that gets the slap with the cock, it’s the southeast as a whole.

  • Ben

Florida: Pretty much where death metal was born. You’d think they’d figure “Gee, there are probably lots of fans out there are probably more death metal fans who would go to our show in Florida than in Tennessee” but no, so we get skipped yet again.

  • Elpants

It’s like the same guy books every tour MS sponsors. Because they always do the west coast then completely skip the mountain west (Boise, Denver, Salt Lake…ect) and head straight for the Chicago area.

And I actually approve of this tour too!

  • Unholy Juggalo

This tour would be better if Sacrificial Slaughter wasn’t playing

  • brandonmetal

i did miss VR last time. it’s the day before isis in nyc.
might be worth it to go to montreal for ‘no warbringer’

    ho. ho. ho.

  • ten thousand mexicans on a spaceship

wish so hard this was coming to KC

    • IamracistbutiloveOceano

At least we have Cannibal Corpse and Skeletonwitch coming in May. I think.

  • SP420

Son of a shit, a tour you guys sponsored that will actually kick some fucking ass!

    WARBRINGER!!!!!!!!

  • Meredith

I’m stuck in Florida due to a scholarship, so I’ve pretty much resigned myself to a life without live metal. Was actually going to drive to fucking Georgia to see Nile but no one wanted to go with me.

  • Chance

Fucking rights deffinalty driving to Seattle to this show

No UT=fail. Vital Remains has such an amazing live show.

  • ripptuff

    what happened to tony choy?

    • Sly

I’m curious myself, looks like Jeroen Paul Theisseling is back on bass for the tour. Which is 3/4 of the Spheres lineup. Pretty cool IMO. Real pissed that this tour isn’t coming to Houston.
