LET’S HAVE A MORATORIUM ON FIGHTING IN VIDEOS, OKAY?

It’s not bad enough that that Bullet For My Valentine’s “The Last Fight” is about as shitty as metal song as I’ve ever heard. Nnnnoooo. The director of the accompanying video had to interpret the song’s title as literally as possible as make the clip about fighting. More specifically, “extreme fighting,” or MMA fighting, or whatever the fuck it is that has the kids all hot n’ bothered these days.

How many fucking times am I gonna have to watch this crap in a video? It’s been done. It was done just last week, in fact, and it was already unoriginal then. Fuck, Chimaira did it three years ago!

You really can’t think of a single different idea? I have a hard time believing that. This is just lazy, cynical bullshit. Sorry. Epic fucking fail.

    well the video is a load of shit, ur right about that.

    but i still do like bullet for my valentine a teensy bit these days. i do like triviums song better than this song let me tell ya. bullets sound is getting a little stagnant, even if they took out melodies. they need to try something WAY new.

    but for me, im looking forward to the new as i lay dying album more than the stupid crab arm lady. at least their cover art is cool…. and their music is good.

      i like good videos, but i think the better question is why do bands continue to make generic videos like these or the warehouse vids? the performance footage was not even that good. i think dont bother if youre not going to put some effort into it

    I really dig Bullet. They’re one of my biggest guilty pleasures, and while their new material sounds pretty good to me, this song is nowhere near as good as the other two.

    The video is just lame.

    this is so depressing. when u guys posted begging for mercy, i actually thought bullet were returning to poison form, which would be nice considering thats the album that finally broke me into metal. seems that was the exception and not the rule…

    that JKJ video was absolutley embarrassing/awful/i want to forget it…..the only time i ever like BFMV was when i was in 7th grade and heard hand of blood. a somewhat decent song.

    Better than SAF, not quite as drawing as The Poison… quite catchy though, if not really quite at anything brutal anymore… not that it was much ever before.
    Shitty video… only cool thing I can think of recently was KsE’s carless lightshow of Starting Over which had SOME innovation, and Behemoth’s Ov Fire…

    …yeah.

    Sepultura did it in 96 the song attitude…that was 14 years ago!! I thought it was a shit idea then…but now even megadeth and shadowsfall have recently released clips with mma in it…very sad.

    I just remembered – Suffocation did something like this for ‘Synthetically Revived’ from Human Waste some years ago, although it was only Frank Mullen beating the hell out of some guy. I love that video.
