MUCH BETTER THAN THE ICP/KITTIE TOUR

Friday, March 19th, 2010 at 11:30am by

While we have no intention of going to see Kittie play with a bunch of clowns and The Insane Clown Posse, I suspect we will find our way to Soilwork’s next U.S. tour, which will be with Death Angel and feature support from Augury, Mutiny Within, and Swashbuckle. We haven’t gotten to check out the band since Peter Wichers re-joined, and, truth be told, it didn’t feel quite right without The Wichmeister.

And I promise never to refer to him as “The Wichmeister” again.

  • WowWee!

    Fuck. No Las Vegas dates!
Looks like I have no choice but to go see Kittie and Coolio. Hopefully I will get a disease from drinking some random can of Faygo.

    • Sambo

I’m not the only one that feels your pain then. Las Vegas is home to crap concerts, HxC dancing, people getting into fights and drama OVER that crap music and dancing, and in the end, no GOOD shows come here. I’m surprised that As I Lay Dying is playing here in May for their last tour date with Demon Hunter when they go out on their spring headliner. At least Lamb of God, Hatebreed, and 3 Inches of Blood are coming here in July.

      • Death to bro metal

Vegas never gets any of the big tours

  • bearbomb

Nothing says metal like a Diet Pepsi.

Can’t wait to FINALLY see these guys.

I’m sure there must be some Jack or Captain just out of the frame! :-P

  • Future Ruins

    No Colorado date? WTF????????????

  • Ziltoid

Whoa! Another shitty tour! I’m really liking how all the shitty bands are starting to together for tours instead of being the openers for good bands.

    • Ziltoid

      *to unite together

      • Fufkin

        Yeah – you da man.

Much more important: when are they touring in Europe? I need my Soilwork fix, dammit!

  • Ziltard

Wait nevermind, I will catch this tour when it comes by my town. I also love cock!

  • brandonmetal

    who’s headlining?

Hah, they happen to be playing at Peabody’s when I make my annual trip to Mecca(Youngstown, OH). I was planning on stopping in there anyways to see if the core bands were still polluting.

  • ryan

why even mention icp on here if u dont like them…..we dont want yo ass there anyway!!!!

  • Joe

Haha ICP, adding dykes to the tour is really going to make there show pop-up. Douche Nozzle clowns with horrible instruments and vocals, I REFUSE to call that music.

  • gojirasaurus

This also means no mutiny within on ozzfest as you predicted. Is any band left for that tour?

Good to see a decent tour hitting Florida! I didn’t care for Soilwork’s most recent album at all, but hopefully the new one will restore my faith in them. And anyone who doesn’t think Death Angel is awesome can eat me; Killing Season totally kicked my ass when it came out in 2008. I’m thankful to get another opportunity to see them after missing out on the initial tour supporting their comeback album.
