KILLSWITCH ENGAGE ANNOUNCES NEW SHOWS WITH HOWARD JONES

The KSE saga takes another turn! Actually, the information in the headline is all we can tell you right now. HoJo is doing four shows with the band in May. There’s been no official word on what the heck has been going on these past few months… but at least it looks as though Howard is still in the band.

Dates for the new shows are as follows:

5/19 Norfolk, VA @ The NorVa
5/20 Pittsburgh, PA @ Ches-A-Rena
5/21 Rochester, NY @ Water Street Music Hall
5/22 Columbus, OH @ Columbus Crew Stadium

If anyone goes to any of these shows, be sure to send us a report!

    I honestly don’t know what led anyone to the conclusion that he was out permanently. Glad to see him back. Say what you will about their most recent output, but he’s a helluva frontman.

      jesse is awesome but he has his own band now its ok EMPIRE SHALL FALL, i like howard but dammit i wish they would either make something totally new or return back to their rawer roots.

    HoJo! Ha ha! Well, I hope the band can actually turn out a HEAVY album next time. Thier latest album felt like no effort and they went mainstream soft.

      That’s because most of their audience brought into the fold by Howard is the Hard-Rock, radio listening type.

    Why do people need to conflate the addition/removal of a singer with a band’s musical direction? Everyone knows who makes the decisions in KE and it’s not the singer… You may not like the direction KE has taken, but few can debate Howard isn’t a superior vocalist…

    I have contest tickets for the show in Norfolk, VA, including a meet and greet with the band, and going on stage to air guitar with them. Wish I could have seen them playing with Jesse too though.

    Terrible news. The prospect of Jesse coming back into the fold was pretty exciting. However, maybe it’s better this way. I mean, could they really top Alive or Just Breathing? Wouldn’t any attempts to recapture that magic just fail miserably? Probably. But, I still would have liked to see them try. I’m just grateful I got to see them perform with Jesse which is really all I ever wanted to begin with.

    Hey, look at that… Not that big of a surprise considering that, you know, the band said it was going to happen weeks ago. Why anyone actually thought that Jesse was returning full-time is beyond me…

    I can’t believe all you people wanted to see Jesse back. He was a very good vocalist but Howard pushes them over the top. Im sorry but its the truth. His range is better and overall screaming is better. Im glad he is back because honestly he completes the band with personalities like Adam D, Joel, Mike D, and Justin. Howard is the better front man hands down.
