IS IT WRONG THAT I FIND THIS ATTRACTIVE?

Vince likes Japanese girls in knee-high socks who can shred; my current YouTube crush is SmooneGrri, an eighteen year old Dutch girl who does vocal covers of brutal death and slam songs. While eighteen years old is too young for me (morally and intellectually, if not legally), she’s actually really, really good, and European accents really do it for me.

I saw this video originally at Invisible Oranges, where Cosmo Lee pondered the gender issues at play: “So she’s discovered this extremely male-dominated, often misogynistic music on her own, and wants to make her mark in it.” I’m not as bright as Cosmo, though, so I’ll just this: I will take this girl over Maria Brink any day.
