BIG CHOCOLATE, RENAISSANCE MAN

Cam Argon, a.k.a. “Big Chocolate,” is nineteen years old, and meanwhile, he’s the vocalist for at least three different projects, he’s a DJ, he’s in college getting his degree, and, oh yeah, now he’s directed the new Annotations of an Autopsy video, for the song “Bone Crown.” I mean, Vince and I have both been keeping really busy lately, working ridiculously long hours on a lot of projects both related to MetalSucks and not really related to MetalSucks, and this kid makes us look lazy. Cut it out with the being so productive, Cam! Slack off, watch some internet porn, take a nap for no good reason. Sheesh!

      This guy is 100% right place, right time. Besides market the shit out of himself, I have never seen/heard anything he has done that has stood out.

      I don’t know if they like his music at all. Personally I’ve never heard anything he does that I like. He sounds too much like a bullfrog for me. But, what I think they’re saying is that ya gotta respect the drive this kid has at 19 years old to have so much on his plate, and apparently succeeding at it.
      When I was 19 my potheaded ass was too busy flunking out of college, twice, to do half the shit he’s doing.
      So props to him, he just has to make better music.

        Exactly. Maybe I’m old, but I don’t “get” this genre at all. That aside…
        the kid is 19, has a great sense of humor about what he does and comes across as just a genuinely good kid who’s stoked to be where is, but would be just as happy recording YouTube vids in his bedroom. On top of all that, he handles disparaging comments with a maturity and tact that some people will just never be able to achieve regardless of the place in life.
        IMO, if you can’t respect that, then you’re just a miserable little negative twat.

    This band is terrible. The singer is from my town and his mum walked him to school until he was 15. He was also IMMENSELY fat ( kinda still is lololol )\

      I’m not sure what relevance his weight or the fact that his mum cares about him have to do with their music? gene Hoglan is awesome and I bet his mum loves him.

      They’re not a great band, but this seems a bit of a personal attack for no reason?

      However… can you build me a house? I have… things and doings I would like to keep secret.

    Christ, the “gang vocals” at the beginning immediately kill the song. And I get that this kid does A LOT for a 19 year old, hell I turn 19 in two months and I spend all my time smoking weed, playing bass, and neglecting my 3D Animation homework.

    Regardless, the directing of the video is just… not good. I feel like he either got the gig simply because of the ridiculous amounts of attention he’s randomly picked up via YouTube and MS or because he’s simply friends with the band because it OBVIOUSLY wasn’t because of his directing talent. Nothing was synched, his equipment isn’t that great, and…. well, you just shouldn’t have a crowd shot when the pit is EMPTY besides a couple headbangers.

    Hell, Big C is a better musician than the guys of Annotations of an Autopsy though.

    cam went on tour with aoaa for the legacy of blood tour and recorded most of the performances for his cameveryday show, where he makes a video everyday of his life about his life for the rest of his life. He just compiled them up and used them. ur all dumb.

    but u rely should watch his show its nasty he just went to mitch luckers wedding so it was cool to see the dude who wrote unanswered standing in a church.

    I hate oceano is right, that vid he made was just of clips he put together for fun. Cameveryday ftw. Iv been watchin cams videos since he only had a cpl thousand views. I can’t belive how far he’s come.

    Great guy, really happy with his vocals on the new Burning the Masses. I liked Disfiguring the Goddess, too.

    Besides liking self-YouTube videos a tad too much, I’ve got nothing but respect for Big C.
