I love Slayer with all my being, but there are only three words to describe this video: Ho. Lee. Shit.

Slayer, why the fuck didn’t you call me? I’d of lent you ten bucks. That would have tripled your budget!

    I think this vid has enough creep factor to keep anyone from mistaking Slayer for the next Metallica or anything. Besides, after 25 years they’re kind of in the Chickenfoot camp with no need to make some deeper artistic statement; get to the point, sell the song, call it a day.

    Speaking of Metallica, I see Crue got the Camp Chaos Metallica/Napster animators to do their videos now. I’m just noticing this now because I didn’t know they were still releasing videos (I say this with absolutely no sarcasm whatsoever).

    Oh my. This is up there with that animated video for “Bible Black”. I know it’s not that hard for Slayer to come up with decent videos – the “Eyes of the Insane” vid. was pretty good. Even the “Beauty Through Order” video was better than this – sure it was just a bunch of naked chicks writhing around in what looked like molasses, but at least it LOOKED cool. This is like 10th grade intro-to-video type shit. The video for this song should have looked like 28 days later…

    I think it’s pretty cool. It’s certainly different than the usual fare for music videos. And it’s a hell of a lot better than the last abortion of a video they did. That was just tits for the sake of tits, real lowest common denominator shit.

    Personally, I lost it when the first shot of Araya came on. I think it’s hilarious. Reminds me more of Metalocalypse with a touch of South Park. It’s bad, but it makes me laugh and I am pretty sure Slayer intended on me enjoying this video more than you guys anyway.

    This reminds me of how happy I was that this site saved me some money when the record came out by previewing the long-form stop motion video that came with the ‘deluxe’ edition. It was equally as bad and almost doubled the cost of the cd as I recall.

    The CD is good and this is one of the better songs (even if it is a rehash of Angel of Death) – but I don’t need to waste time with this video. In their defense, actual live footage of them playing wouldn’t look a whole lot different, especially now that Araya literally can’t headbang anymore, so this vid is pretty accurate upon reflection.
