THEY HAVE BIKINI GIRLS IN FINLAND?

I don’t really like “Hei Hei Heinäkuu,” the Mokoma song that is the basis for the below video. Fuck, until just now, I’d never heard of Mokoma, and I have no desire to do any research on them.

But usually, when we see a video by a Finnish metal band, it’s a bunch of dudes dressed like pagans or sorcerors or whatever running around the woods, doing everything in their power to make sure that they never get laid. Whereas “Hei Hei Heinäkuu” is like a hair metal T n’ A video, except with a sense of humor about its homoeroticism. So, still, no one gets laid, but at least that’s part of the charm of the thing, such as it were. And if nothing else… GIRLS IN BIKINIS! WHOO-HOO!

(What can I say? I’m easy to please.)

    Great vid. Reminds me of the old glam days, with a few exceptions:
    – Mokoma’s music doesn’t completely suck
    - the women are prettier than the men
    - the only tight pants during the video were mine

    I lived overseas in my youth. I won’t say where; it wasn’t Finland, but there were a few Finnish girls in my class. I can confirm that Finnish girls are some of the hottest women on the planet. Forget Sweden, or any of the former Soviet states. Finland is where it’s at.
