Soilwork are still on their MetalSucks-sponsored Panic Across North America Tour but that isn’t stopping our favorite Swedes from stooping to the level of good ol’ Internet warfare with the rest of us; they’ll be taking over SMNnews.com all day today! The band will be posting their thoughts and pictures from the road, providing their own unique insight throughout the day, and they’ll be participating in an hour-long live chat at 3:30 EDT (12:30 PDT). If you’ve ever wanted to ask Speed Strid whether he uses Bic or Gillette to shave that shiny dome of his, now’s your chance!

    I checked it out earlier and it’s pretty cool, though a little bit chaotic if you ask me. I got into the chat with Dirk Verbeuren, but with 250 people at once in the chat room that wasn’t the best conversation ever. I did get to ask a couple of questions and he answered them too, so that’s nice. I now know that Dirk is from Antwerp and natively speaks Dutch. I also found out that Peter Wichers is to “blame” for the added groove on the new album compared to their previous stuff.

    As for their new album, I’m with SchenkelTown: it’s a good album. It’s very good. In fact, I find it so good that I graded it with a 10/10 in my review. Should you want to read that, just click on my name and you’ll find it up top.
