Rumpelstiltskin Grinder made my #5 most favoritest record of 2009 which also happened to be the #1 most funnest, so it’s no surprise that bassist/vocalist Shawn Riley makes for a good cooking show co-host. In this, the fifth episode of MetalSucks’ cooking show Cooking Contaminated, Riley brings his dad’s blue cheese dressing recipe into host Eli Shaika’s kitchen where the two team up to serve it with Eli’s own famous hot wings. Blue Cheese Dressing:

4 oz blue cheese
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise

Crumble blue cheese. Mix all ingredients in small bowl. Let sit for at least 30 minutes in fridge.

Sauce

1/2 cup butter (half a large stick)
1 1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot Sauce
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon curry powder

Melt butter in small saucepan. Add dry ingredients and stir. Add hot sauce and mix thoroughly. Cook for 3 minutes then remove from direct heat.

Eli’s Famous Wings

Large package of whole fresh wings (aprox 18)
1/2 gallon of canola oil

Separate drumstick portion from wing on all wings. Fill large pot 1/3 full of oil, heat until 350 degrees. Add wings slowly in batches of 8-10. Cook approx 12 minutes or until crispy and brown. Dry and toss with wing sauce in large bowl.
