THE CHARIOT WANT TO BLOW YOUR MIND… FOR FREE

A couple of weeks ago, Vince told you how The Chariot’s new album, Long Live, has been blowing our collective mind grapes. He called the album “heavy as fuck,” “chaotic yet controlled,” and “bizarrely catchy in its pure post-hardcore meets grind mayhem.”

Well, now’s your chance to hear some of it for yourself.

Shockhound is giving away the song “The Audience” for free. You do hafta sign up to become a member of Shockhound, but you don’t hafta tell everyone on Facebook how much you love The Chariot or tweet on their behalf or anything else irritating like that. Which seems fair enough.

So go download the song, then let us know what you think. Long Live comes out November 23 on Good Fight.

Didn’t amaze me but I thought it was quite good. If you like like stuff that sounds like the vocalist is on the edge of a nervous breakdown and the guitarist has Parkinson’s, you should enjoy this.

Or download the entire album on your favorite torrent site and then buy it when out comes out a month from now… Which I’m sure everyone will do.

I bought the last album because the band took the time out of their day to hand stamp every copy of the initial pressing. More bands should follow their lead, music and marketing wise.

Great cd, have to agree with James M. Scogin definitely sounds on the verge of a nervous breakdown… And who knew Parkinsons could help create such a unique sound?

  • All Out War

Actually unique def isn’t the right word, but it sounds sick and chaotic regardless of the fact Botch did it first.

Saw these guys play a while back at Big Daddy’s in Tallahassee, Florida.
They put on one AMAZING show, along with Memphis May Fire.
Really bizarre band though, the lead singer held up one of those caged-bulb lanterns and everybody in the audience started cramming at the front towards the light as if they were moths or something.

    Yay! Christian deathcore!
