BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME WILL RELEASE A NEW ALBUM “SOON,” HAVE THE VIDEO TO PROVE IT

Monday, November 1st, 2010 at 1:30pm by

Hoo-ray for the reader known as “El Ton Côté.” He just sent us a link to the below video, of Between the Buried and Me in the studio, working on their new album. The video is entitled “Soon,” so presumably we’re getting a new BTBAM album, uh, soon. Which is great!

Alas, this video doesn’t have much in the way of new music, but what it does have sounds typically promising. Time to start getting excited for this one.

I don’t care how much music this new release will contain, be it an EP or a full LP… The happiness that this video brings me cannot be contained in this comment box.

Because you know an EP from them will still be 30 minutes long, minimum.

I’ve been waiting for them to do an EP for a while. I am definitely excite.

Great coincidence, I was listening to the 5.1 Surround on the deluxe edition of Great Misdirect when I saw this!

i wish i had enough money for a prs =(

See what I mean? This site blows a select few lame bands. I commented on this in last week’s Sergeant D post about Pantera. Let’s hear about actual metal bands than this hyphenated crap!

I believe you mean “overrated”, sir.
Also, while I fully disagree with your comment, I notice your name is “Spermgrinder”. Now I am confused as to why someone with your tastes, as suggested by your name, would bother commenting about progcore spazzes like BTBAM; you are simply creating conflict, sir.
Please do not comment on this if you hate them; the fans (myself include) will start bitching like the pricks we are and love to be.

      You suck ass.

  • Monkey Knife Fight

Their nerdy antics never cease to crack me up.

I have what I call music ADD (I can never really finish a whole song before I’m looking through the music trying to find what I’m playing next.), but I can sit and listen to any full btbam song and ATLEAST once a month I give a whole record ago.

I show no other band the same amount of consistency.

Well, the stuff in the background sounded like the last two albums. Colors was really good. The Great Misdirect was okay, but lost my attention and my enthusiasm. Am I the only one who thinks that Alaska was their best work to date?

    • Tyler

      Yes

    • jerome

yeah u are. TGM was their best work. mature. solid. to the point and technically better than all their previous albums. not saying that their previous albums aren’t amazing cuz they are. but each album they release is better than their previous one. its why i love them. they are constantly evolving and getting better.
