      Absolutely no fucking clue. Excellent songwriting, great pacing, and lyrics that are actually thoughtful. Also, a song about evolution that is for the most part scientifically accurate to boot! Heliocentric/Anthropocentric are my favorite albums of this year easy.

    Heliocentric is garbage. Why do people like this band? They are so Pretentious. Just because they based their shit on a classic book doesn’t make them smart and heliocentric was boring as shit.

      You know them personally and can say they’re actually pretentious, i’m sure. The word pretentious is a piss poor adjective for music anyways. You could always simply say “I don’t like it” instead of making an ass out of yourself.

      I don’t see how The Ocean are pretentious. Sure, they write songs about scientific and philosophical things, but they hardly come off as pretentious.
