PAUL DI’ANNO IS CONSISTENT

“I used to be the singer for Iron Maiden!”

I’ll keep this brief, because it’s the very definition of “self-explanatory.” I mean, it might be one of those “I’m  [insert minority here] so I’m allowed to use the word ‘[insert slanderous term here]‘” things, but my gut tells me it’s really just one of those “I’m not very smart things.”

So. Paul Di’Anno, 2009:

“But you need to take drugs when you’re with Iron Maiden because they’re so fucking boring.”

And Paul Di’Anno, 2010:

“Anyone who slags off on Maiden, I’ll punch them out.”

In conclusion, I very much look forward to watching Paul Di’Anno punch himself out.

I saw this silly sod live recently, in fairness he wasn’t too bad but I laughed out loud when he said he’s still mates with Steve Harris.

  • saqdancer

    he looks totally gangster

He’s cool now that he learned Steve and Bruce actually wanted to bring him to do some old songs live.Still, the guy has no word.

    • Trelard

Wait, what? I’ve been out of the loop this past while. What’d I miss?

  • Dubs

The same guy said that punk was just metal played badly (yes I got that from music choice)… he needs to shove a flat-brimmed hat up his ass bill-first.

    Howie Mandel rocks!

  • Bierko

    Used to be a legend.

    Used to be.

  • KMFCM

    so lemme guess
    he’s called “Paulie D”?

  • Dennis Stratton feels similarly

Perhaps if Paul had learned how to play well with others at an earlier age, a) he’d be spending the holidays on a private 747 instead of in Asbury Park, NJ & b) Iron Maiden would actually be listenable.

Haha +1 Corey Mitchell!! You beat me to it

The first 2 Maiden albums are better than all the rest combined. Dark, heavy, musical masterpieces with a vocalist to match. Loved Bruce in Samson, hate him in Maiden.

    • charan

      your loss

  • Joe

    Please. Bruce destroys Paul.

  • Fufkin

If he keeps his mouth shut for the next three years and gets in shape then maybe, just maybe they’ll give him 15 mins on the farewell tour. I would like to see that.

im interested in that 2010 interview because paul claims that there is a demo of him singing “run to the hills” and “Hallowed be thy name” those would definitely be interesting to hear.

  • Bierko

Paul made a shitload of bad decisions after maiden, and certainly joining the Latin Kings, giving gang signs on Killers albums, a bit of plagiarism here and there, and not being able to sustain any kind of success over and over didn’t help matters. Paul had many chances to come back and failed at all of them, so Steve Harris and Rod Smallwood both had a point.
