ANAAL NATHRAKH DOES NOT FIT INJURY. OR SOMETHING.

Why, it was just Monday that we stumbled across news of a new Anaal Nathrakh album, Passion, and lookee what we have here! It’s cover art! And, better still, A NEW SONG! I knew I got out bed this morning for a reason.

And the song is FUCKING GREAT. It’s called “Volenti Non Fit Iniuria,” which may or may not mean “like it does not fit injury.” (I’ll let an Italian reader correct me. Sorry, Italian readers.) I can’t stop listening to it. It’s dirty and epic and angry and creative, which feels like a fucking miracle in this day and age. And while it sounds like Anaal Nathrakh, it doesn’t sound exactly like any other AN tracks, so it’s nice to hear some ongoing artistic evolution, too. If the rest of the album is this good, well, we are all in for a real treat.
