METALSUCKS, NARM AND ROXWEL.COM PRESENT… SOUTH BY SOUTH DEATH! #SXSW

MetalSucks, NARM and Roxwel.com are thrilled to announce our first annual South by South Death event at this year’s SXSW music festival in Austin, TX on Friday, March 18th! Kvelertak, Havok, Red Fang, Wormot and Meek is Murder will be gracing us with their presence on this fine, fine day for heavy music at a festival that’s already surprisingly well-represented by metal. Full Blown Chaos’ Ray Mazzola will also be in the house MCing this jim jam.

In conjunction with Metal Insider, we’ll have control of the patio stage at Headhunters, at 720 Red River, from 2-6pm on Friday, March 18th. Admission will be FREE FREE FREE, and anyone 18 and over is welcome to enter. Get there early ’cause Headhunters is small, and this thing is gonna become packed and sweaty in no time at all.

    Sweet! Glad to see Kvelertak will be playing somewhere other than just the shitty Prague bar. Also this is why I never need a wristband, as all the stuff I like is usually free or very cheap. Bring it on!

    This is so not fair. TX is too far for a day trip for me, the vacation time is spent, so now I get nothing. I would love to see all of these guys, and with the exception of Red Fang(awesome) I have yet too. Totally Jelly right now.

    Free admission is a GO for me, but I don’t know if it’s worth it to fly down for a day or two, crash with my old Army bro, and get into this event but not anything else.

    Although, Bob Geldof is giving the keynote address the day before. Wonder if I could crash THAT….
