    The thing with Havok is that they just write better songs than most of the re-thrash, and they some more genuine as well. Been waiting for this album since I listened to Burn, let’s see.

      Anyway, it doesn’t sound bad, but the drum machine is pretty lame. Just get a real drummer already, or quit triggering/quantizing the damn drums.

    They put on a good show at SXSW. I had never heard them before, but they were entertaining. The band was very tight. However, my main criticism is the music seemed a little generic; re-thrash by the numbers. Although, they did play one new song, Scumbag in Disguise, that was very good. I wouldn’t be surprised if this album blows away their previous work.
