IT WAS NICE OF JOHNNY PLAGUE TO LET THE OTHER MEMBERS OF HIS BAND BE IN HIS VIDEO

I know I don’t care who’s in Winds of Plague, but do their fans? I mean obviously no one cares about whasshername. It’s perfectly clear that any scene girl can fill that job and the fans won’t blink an eye. But, like, if the guitar player or the drummer quits, would the fans be bummed? Are these guys integral to the group’s creative success?

I ask because they’ve released a new video, “Drop the Match,” and the rest of the band is barely in it. In fact, not only are they barely in the video, but towards the end, Johnny kills each and everyone of them in horrible, violent ways. He shoots one guy in the head, asphyxiates one guy, blows up another dude, sets another guy on fire, and ties up whasshername and kicks her off of a peer so that she will fall into the water below and drown.

I’m saying that people might read into this a little bit that Johnny does not care about his bandmates. It’s just a possibility.

Come back to MetalSucks next week, when I am going to burn Anso in effigy. I don’t mean anything by it, though. I just thought it was a neat way to promote our brand.

      i don’t get the big thing about iwabo. they sound pretty generic to me but with hipster electro thrown in at bits. the chick’s singing voice is really crap to boot. then why are people making such a thing about them, for or against?

    What’s sad is somehow our tax dollars funded this garbage. I noticed a few things though of the one minute I suffered through:

    A. Am I the only one that catches the Whitechapel/Upon A Burning Body envy Johnny has? Literally, it sounds like he’s trying to imitate them to the fullest.
    B. I got a Thirteen Ghosts vibe from the intro where the band all portray different types of killers.
    C. Why ?

    I don’t see why everyone hates on this band; not everything has to re-invent the wheel. I’m fine with low-I.Q. metal every once in a while, just like I don’t mind drinking Coors Light or eating McDonalds every once in a while.

    i think bands like this should stick to the cliche warehouse vids, they obviously cand do anything creative with the music let alone the video, which you might expect to be better because there might be more people involved giving ideas etc, but no, also whoever edited the video doesnt know how to use the programs

    Honestly, “deathcore” is becoming the new “nu-metal” and I didn’t think so a few years ago. I like heavy music that sounds angry, or whatever, but not “tough” because it just comes across douchey.

    Though I must, I do like Bleeding Through which sort of contradicts my comment I suppose. But I can “feel” the music because i doesnt sound sterile or like they are trying to reach a certain audience. WOP, Emmure, etc. are just heavier versions of Limp Bizkit.
