SIRIUS XM’S JOSE MANGIN: “ONE REASON” VIDEO RELEASED

Jose Mangin, Sirius XM Liquid Metal/Octane Program Director and DJ and an all-around good dude, has released a new music video, for the song “One Reason.” You should check it out. Jose plays a guy who stares very intensely at this lady, and he does an extremely convincing job of it.

I have no idea who Jose’s backing band in this video are, but it was nice of him to give them so much time in the spotlight. Some solo artists won’t even do that much.

    Jose is also in DEP’s Setting Fire to Sleeping Giants video, which is a much better song.

    I hate myself for thinking this song wasn’t half bad. I think if she stuck to strictly clean vox it would work better for them. I’m not going to become a SLS convert or anything but this wasn’t as horrible as I thought it would be.

    Its sad when this guy is a better representitive of metal than fellow douches like Eddie Trunk and Riki Rachtman. Iann Robinson was the only decent “metal host” or whatever it is you call these guys.

    I don’t personally get some of the comments against Jose. But to each their own. I’ve met Jose and talked with him for about 15 minutes. Very cool dude and fun to talk to and he values your opinion too. He’ll ask what you think of the station and listen and it will actually be done. I personally think the guy is a great guy

    Every time he was on air, he would name drop like mad and mention how he cooked his “famous tacos” for some band.

    He one time announced how big of a fan he was of Testament’s first album, then introduced “Curse of the Legion of Doom”.
