THAT ZILTOID APPEARS IN THIS VIDEO IS ALL THE EXCUSE I NEED TO POST IT

I’ve never been to Australia, but everyone I have ever met from there — literally, every single Australian I have ever known in my life (and I’ve known a surprising amount of Australians) — has been cool. I know it started as a penal colony, but at some point the prisoners must have just, like, smoked mad doobs or something, because Australians are awesome people.

That being said, I do not give enough of a fuck about Australia to post about shows in Australia… normally. I’ll make an exception for this video promoting Devin Townsend’s upcoming appearance  on the Aussie’s Soundwave Revolution festival, though, because Ziltoid (the real Ziltoid, not Zilty Wilty) is in it.

And that’s it. If you don’t like this, you’re a spazz.

    Unfortunately, for me, the Soundwave Revolution lineup is fairly manky, save the DTP and Gojira (http://www.soundwavefestival.com/node/109866). And 45 minutes would be highly disappointing considering on his last tour here he played for at least 90. I’m hoping for some solo nights while he’s in the country, or as the festival bills them, “Sidewaves”.

      The boss of soundwave (iamnotshouting on twitter) said the only sideshows will be in melbourne and keeps saying they only “might” happen
      so I assume the second melbourne sells out they’ll be announced
