       It would be a little less ridiculous looking if they would at least get the American military salute right. That’s the one thing that stands out among the rest of this shit. Tip of the middle finger to the outer tip of the eyebrow.

      Hell, if they REALLY wanted to go the extra mile for the troops, they could cut their hair to military regulations as maybe just a sign they understand one thing about the military.

    Although I do take pride in being an American this issue just looks downright horrible. It’s like they actually went out and tried to find the worst bands in metal.

    Also, isn’t Revolver a British magazine? Why are they going all patriotic all of a sudden. Next thing you know Decibel’s gonna start celebrating Guy Fawkes day.

    I get both Decibel and Revolver (Revolver I got a subscription to like two years ago and I swear it makes no effing sense how its lasted this long) and I dread every other month getting. It just gets worse and worse.

    I’m going to send my friends over in the desert some pictures of this magazine cover so they have something worthwhile to shoot at on the range. You see, they could make it so they have to shoot these dickbags, without touching anything with SHTPAT, red, white, or blue. And if they can hit the little hetfield in the corner, I owe them a case of beer when they get home.

    I just find funny all the butthurt over here, I am not a fan of the band, and I hate nationalism in every form. But I’m pretty sure these guys have nothing but respect for the troops (they seem like that kind of idiots), yo yeah, I don’t get all the hate.

    I know that 5FDP drives you guys crazy, but you might want to read the article – it’s all about the efforts that the band is making to support our troops.  Regardless of whether or not you like them, they’re loved by tons of troops overseas.  Since that’s who they’re trying to entertain, I don’t see the problem here.  I’m willing to bet my life savings that Revolver gets a ton of emails from active troops thanking them for this cover.  

    No matter how much you don’t like a particular band, I don’t know how you can trash them for flying overseas to entertain/support American troops.  I have a ton of respect for any band (from any genre) that is willing to go to some truly wretched parts of the world to entertain soldiers who are willing to put their lives on the line every day.  Hate everything else they do, but don’t hate on this.
