WHAT IS THE HUMAN ABSTRACT’S SECRET VIDEO PROJECT?

Well, this is interesting. The Human Abstract posted the below message on their Facebook page yesterday:

“Attention all video editors. If you have some free time to work on a THA project, please comment below and you will be contacted with more information. Thaaaanks!”

Which, following the recent denial of their alleged break-up from guitarist Dean Herrera, seems like further proof that the rumors of THA’s demise have been greatly exaggerated. (We can’t really count last week’s release of the band’s cover of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata”  as proof of their ongoing existence, since the tracks were recorded during sessions for last year’s Digital Veil, and an insider tells us that the group had no idea that it was finally being made available to the public until after it was already on iTunes.) That’s great news; we absolutely love this band, and want nothing more than to see them soldier on and continue to make great music.

Of course, now we also have to wonder what this THA video project is, exactly. Presumably it’s not just a collection of their music videos, since those have all already been edited. Sooo… is it a concert DVD? A documentary of some sort? Something more esoteric our minds can’t even conceive of right now? Hopefully more details will be available soon.
