THIS DUDE COVERED MASTODON’S LEVIATHAN ON THE PIANO, IN ITS ENTIRETY, IN ONE TAKE

We’ve seen a piano cover of Mastodon before, but this is a whole other level of cool: this guy who calls himself jsabbott0 (I can’t seem to find his real name!) has recorded a piano cover of Mastodon’s Leviathan (which some people think is the best metal album of the 21st century so far)… like, the entire album… and he’s done it all in one take. And, oh yeah, with no sheet music, ’cause he apparently learned the entire thing by ear and then friggin’ memorized it, I guess.

I’m about halfway through it right now and so far, I gotta say, it’s pretty great. If you have the time, I definitely recommend you watch the video of this feat of metallic strength…
