HERE’S THE ALBUM ART FOR NILE’S AT THE GATE OF SETHU

For some stupid reason, I hadn’t listened to Nile in like a bajillion years before video surfaced of the band performing a new song a couple of weeks ago. Then Vince and I saw ’em open for The Black Dahlia Murder last week, and since then, I’ve pretty much wanted to listen to nothing but Nile. I am so beyond stoked for the impending release of their new album, At the Gate of Sethu, that I can’t even put my excitement into words.

Now the band has unveiled the cover art, which you can check out below. It’s pretty standard stuff for Nile — Egyptian! — but whatever, I just want the goddamn album already.

At the Gate of Sethu comes out July 3 on Nuclear Blast. That’ll be an interesting way to celebrate the most patriotic weekend of the year, eh?
