LISTEN TO THE TITLE TRACK FROM GOJIRA’S L’ENFANT SAUVAGE RIGHT NOW!!!!

EUREKA! Pitchfork is now streaming the title track from Gojira’s heavily anticipated new album, L’Enfant Sauvage. I’m having trouble with the player for some reason so I can’t hear it. I feel like I’m gonna cry. Go listen to it right now and tell me how it is, okay? I’ll try to update this post if I can ever actually hear the damned song.

UPDATE, 2:45 pm : Okay, I got the player working, and… it’s great. Definitely an evolution for the band, but it has plenty of touchstones of the classic Gojira sound. Unsurprisingly, Josh Wilbur’s production sounds cleaner than that of previous Gojira releases, but it doesn’t bother me a lick. Mario Duplantier’s drums are EPIC. Really, my only complaint is that I wish it were longer. But on the whole, I’m really digging it. You?

L’Enfant Sauvage comes out June 26 on Roadrunner.
