The Contortionist are, without a doubt, one of the most exciting young prog-metal bands on the scene today. On July 17, eOne/Good Fight Music will release Intrinsic, the band’s stunning sophomore effort, which you can now pre-order here. This album is a major leap forward for the group, and, appropriately enough, they’re taking a major leap forward in the touring department, too: They’ll be headlining the Intrinsic 2012 North American tour, presented by your pals right here at MetalSucks.
And while the chance to see The Contortionist live alone should be enough to lure you to a show, they’re gonna have three unmissable support acts to sweeten the deal: the already-legendary Jeff Loomis, plus hot n’ comers Chimp Spanner (making their North American tour debut!) and 7 Horns 7 Eyes. Damn great line-up, right? These shows are gonna be an insane amount of fun, so make sure you don’t miss ’em!!!
