STREAM BARONESS’ NEW SONG “EULA,” RIGHT NOW!

A song called “Eula” from Baroness’ excellent new album Yellow & Green got some radio airplay last week, meaning it was up on the Internet in minutes. But as is usually the case with radio rips, the audio quality sucked and finding a working stream was like a neverending game of whack-a-mole.

So put your foam mallet away, because now’s your chance to hear “Eula” in full quality without having to hunt it down: stream the near 7-minute epic at Spin.com. The track’s slow build, melancholy melodies and moody demeanor all scream “ballad,” but this ain’t no cheesy power track: think the kind of epic journey that Guns N’ Roses mastered with tracks like “November Rain” and “Estranged.”. I’d love to see an equally epic music video for this track some day, complete with John Baizley diving through a wedding cake and swimming with dolphins for no reason at all.

Yellow & Green comes out July 17 on Relapse.
