THIS NEW WINTERSUN ALBUM IS ACTUALLY GOING TO COME OUT

The crazy part about all the hype around new Wintersun is that I don’t even really care all that much. I’ve just been hearing about new Wintersun new Wintersun new Wintersun! from Frank at Metal Injection for so frickin’ long that I’ve been lulled into anticipating a new Wintersun album almost as much as he does. Inevitably when the damn thing finally does come out he’ll claim it’s not as good as the first record. C’est La Vie. 

The day of reckoning is October 19, according to Wintersun’s official (and hilariously retro — sick visitor counter, brahs!!!) website. Time I, the first part of the double-album promised earlier this year, will be released that day via Nuclear Blast while Time II will follow “in 2013.” The two of them together contain about 80 minutes of music, just a little too much for one CD, so the band has decided to split them up into two more easily digestible parts.
