ANTHRAX ARE NOW THE FIRST METAL BAND TO GO TO MARS (SORT OF)
So today NASA researchers revealed during a Reddit AMA the songs that they’ve used recently to “wake up” the Miss Curiosity rover, and there was exactly one metal song on the list: Anthrax’s version of “Got the Time” from Persistence of Time. And I don’t really have anything interesting to say about this, but I’m sure my fellow sci-fi Jew nerd Scott Ian is very excited. So mazel tov to Anthrax. Let’s crank this fucker in honor of them finally making it into outer space!
