CRADLE OF FILTH HAVE INVENTED A NEW SUBGENRE OF METAL

Yo so I usually really like Cradle of Filth cuz Dani Filth is so wise he’s like a Yoda with lipstick (Jesus really IS a cunt!), but I just found out that their new album is manticore, and I cannot back these dudes giving up black metal in favor of some trendy shit.

I don’t even know what fucking manticore is. Is there a genre called manti? Is it a reference to manties? Is that like Vampires Everywhere and Motionless in White and shit? I think that must be it. They must call those bands manticore because they’re real Labonte and shit. That’s actually pretty funny.

But I still can’t back these dudes changing genres. Sorry. No way no how. I think if Dani abandons that real underground shit that made him famous in the first place, he’s gonna find that his fans get real fuckin’ cranky real fuckin’ fast.
