IT’S A TRAILER FOR THE NEW SOUNDGARDEN ALBUM

I’m a little surprised with how little I care about King Animal, Soundgarden’s first new album in sixteen years. I think a lot of my lack of enthusiasm has to do with the fact that I didn’t really dig “Live to Rise,” the song the band released this summer, and that, generally speaking, there is not a lot of evidence to suggest that Chris Cornell still knows how to write a great song. That being said, I do think this trailer for the album is pretty cool, and I’d love for the band to release a Black Gives Way to Blue-style kickass comeback album. Watch:
