ILL NIÑO WROTE A SONG ABOUT LISTENING TO ILL NIÑO

Ill Niño have released a lyric video for a new track called “The Depression.”

The song is fucking awful, even more so than most of the crap I’ve heard from this band. At least their older shit had hooks; I never dug it, but I understood why some people would. But this is just gobblygook; the band have clearly tried to adjust their sound to distance themselves from the scene in which they came up (horrible nu-metal) to something more popular today (horrible metalcore), but they have no talent for it whatsoever.  If a handful of the lyrics weren’t in Spanish, you wouldn’t even be able to tell that it’s Ill Niño.

You can listen to “The Depression” below if you really want to. (Spoiler alert: life’s not fair and Dreadlock McGee or whatever the fuck his name is is feeling really pouty about it.) It will be on Ill Niño’s new album, Epidemia, which comes out October 22 on Victory.
