ENCRUST RALLY AGAINST THE “ENGINE OF DECEIT”

Throw a dart at a board full of metal band names and chances are pretty high you’ll strike one that’s got a very negative outlook on the world. Encrust are no different; they’re angry about the state of things and they wanna tell you about it in their song “Engine of Deceit,” for which they just released a lyric video. Not that I can blame them; shit is fucked! You’re fucked, I’m fucked, we’re all fucked.

The song comes from Encrust’s new album From Birth To Soil. I’ve been headbanging to this track since the album came out on September 25th but I hadn’t paid attention to the lyrics until now, and I’m all the more depressed for it now that I finally have. Still, if you can’t muster an “amen” to these lyrics you’re probably just burying your head in the sand. Check it out:
