THIS EXTOL FILM LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE PRETTY COOL

Speculation ran rampant in early August that Norwegian progressive metallers Extol were reuniting when a trailer for a film about the band showed new studio footage of the members jamming. And then it happened! Extol are indeed getting back together, although it’s not the lineup you might’ve expected.

But what of the documentary film that started the fracas? No release date has been announced yet, but the movie is said to focus on why the band broke up in 2007, the making of their new album, and the band’s Christian faith. Here’s a preview that was released a few months ago:
