Ross Robinson is “Not Confirmed” to Produce the New Behemoth Album

A couple of weeks ago Nergal posted the above photo of himself, Behemoth bassist Orion (far right), and famed nu-metal producer Ross Robinson meeting in Poland, which made some people nervous that the new Behemoth album might sound like Three Dollar Bill, Yall$. Which is a fairly ridiculous fear, but I totally understand wanting to hear that Behemoth is not working with the guy who tried to make Vanilla Ice metal.

So take the below tweet from Robinson for what you will:

Of course, that doesn’t mean that Robinson ISN’T producing the album — just that nothing is official. It’s safe to assume that Nergal and company are speaking to a few different producers, or that they’re still negotiating, or whatever. So, yes, you might still need to spend another few months worrying that Behemoth are adding a DJ. They’ll never add a DJ, but you’ll still worry. Metal has the most neurotic fans in all of music.
