Brutal Death Metal Time: Wormed Split a “Nucleon”

Wormed - Exodromos

2013 is shaping up to be an incredible year for brutal technical death metal. Soreption have a new album slated for release, Rivers of Nihil will release their Metal Blade debut, and today we learn that Wormed, Spain’s finest export second only to the clementine, will release a new album in March.

The new album will be called Exodromos, and it’s actually a thematic prequel to their 2003 album Planisphaerium. Stream “Nucleon” below; it’s dynamic, technical, dissonant and pretty much everything you’d want and expect a new Wormed song to be. Best of all, the production and mixing caliber seems to have been stepped up a notch; it’s definitely the best sounding Wormed yet. Listen:

Exodromos will come out on March 26, 2013 via Willowtip Records.
