Listen to Two New Byzantine Jams for the Price of None

0

Byzantine’s self-titled new album — for which a MetalSucks reader designed the album artwork, and from which we debuted a ripping song called “Signal Path” — comes out in less than two weeks, and I still haven’t gotten my advance copy of it. I’m not complaining, far from it, just pointing out that my anticipation of this most triumphant and unlikely comeback is equal to yours, o loyal MetalSucks reader! Every time I hear a new clip from the album I get more and more excited, and I cannot wait to crank the whole thing start-to-finish in front of my stereo system with a doob and a glass of WhistlePig in hand.

Today we get not one but two new full songs from The Byz in the form of a continuous playthrough video from guitarist and vocalist Chris “OJ” Ojeda, adding to the above-linked “Signal Path” and the official music video for “Soul Eraser.” THOSE RIFFS!!! My God… how do these guys keep coming up with such consistently righteous and catchy riffs? Also, for fuck’s sake, those Tasty McTasterson guitar solos! Jeebus. Watch and listen to “Forged in the Heart of a Dying Star” and “Caldera” below:
