As you may have already inferred, I am not currently in Los Angeles, and did not attend last night’s Revolver Golden Gods Awards. And, I’m guessing, neither were you.

So let’s all enjoy these performance clips from the show together, shall we? First up, we have Judas Priest’s Rob Halford rockin’ our a rendition of “Rapid Fire” with some dudes called Metallica as his backing band. I really like this clip because in it, James Hetfield admits that he’s not a good singer.

Next up, we have former Pantera members Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown performing “This Love” with Anthrax. The performance was dedicated to Jeff Hanneman; given some of Anselmo’s comments regarding Brown’s autobiography in our recent interview with him, I’m glad to see that he and Brown were able to bury the hatchet to honor the memory of such a titan. Enjoy:

And finally, there’s this video of The Dillinger Escape Plan performing, including a cover of Depeche Mode’s “Behind the Wheel” with Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno. Greg Puciato, the best frontman in modern metal, went so fucking nuts that he busted his head open and started bleeding all over the place. Not the first time he’s done such a thing, but I never cease to find it fucking insane.

I’m sure more crazy shit from the show will surface in the coming hours.
