Children of Bodom’s “Transference” Video Features Zero Psychoanalysis

I was really hoping that Children of Bodom’s video for their new single “Transference” would, at last, discuss patients falling in love with their therapists in terms metal fans could understand. I mean, clearly, this is a highly pressing issue within the metal community, and we’ve gone far too long without a cinemetallica PSA of our very own.

Unfortunately, the clip instead focuses on some woman who looks eerily like Alexi Laiho vomiting black stones (or something) and hanging around a graveyard with some other weird people (or something). Bummer, brah.

“Transference” will appear on Children of Bodom’s Halo of Blood, which comes out June 11 on Nuclear Blast.
