Stream Palms’ Debut Album Right Now!!!

As the cover art suggests, the self-titled debut from Palms — the new band featuring the Deftones’ Chino Moreno and former Isis members Aaron Harris, Michael Gallagher, and Jeff Caxide — is both stirring and astral. Spin, who are now streaming the entire album, compare the band to The Cure, Echo & the Bunnymen, U2, and Depeche Mode, but in an ideal world, I’d really love to see them tour with This Will Destroy You. I mean that high praise: I think Palms is friggin’ great, and I sincerely hope that Palms doesn’t end up being a one-off thing, but, rather, a project Moreno and friends can return to whenever he has some downtime from bein’ Def.
