New Trivium Song May Cause “Strife” Amongst Fans

Following last week’s release of the studio recording of “Brave the Storm,” Trivium debuted another new song, “Strife,” at Wacken over the weekend.  You can listen to pro-recorded audio of the performance below. Honestly… I’m not too sweet on it. The impression I’m starting to get of Trivium’s new album, Vengeance Falls, is that it’s going to be in the same vein as In Waves, an album I found to be pretty meh, especially coming after Shogun. I’d love to be proven wrong, though…

Vengeance Falls comes out October 15 on Roadrunner. Look, I got through this whole piece without mentioning that it was produced by David Drainhole! Oh, wait. Awww, nuts.
