Sockweb Made a Music Video

There were an overwhelming number of awesome new releases this week, and so preoccupied was I with said releases that, until this morning, I failed to notice that one of those awesome new releases was not actually released: despite the announcement that it would be out August 6, Werewolf, the debut from father/daughter grind duo Sockweb, does not seem to have actually materialized. Why come? I have no idea. The band still haven’t quite reached their crowdfunding goal (don’t worry, they have ’til September 1 to make it happen, and they’re not that far off), so maybe that has something to do with it.

At least we get this, though: their first-ever music video, for the title track. Appropriately enough, it was all done with hand puppets and animation. Check it out:
