Watch: Nine-Minute Anders Björler Short Film Features Three New Solo Tracks

We’ve been hearing about Antikythera, the debut solo album from guitarist Anders Björler (At the Gates, ex-The Haunted, duh) since last October; now, finally, we get to hear a little bit about the album. The animated short film below, Antikythera: Chapter One (which implies there will be further chapters), contains the first three songs from the album: “Lost in the Depths,” “Fragments,” and “Reconstruction.”

And they’re GREAT. As Björler himself has said, the music is not metal at all, but it’s still fantastic… it feels like Buckethead playing with This Will Destroy You, if that makes sense. I was curious to hear this album before; now I’m downright stoked.
