Dare I say Mutoid Man might be my favorite new project involving Cave In members in quite some time? I dare. I say it!

Mutoid Man features Cave In’s Stephen Brodsky, Ben Koller of Converge / All Pigs Must Die, and Nick Cageao of Brooklyn outfit Bröhammer. When Noisey premiered a song earlier in November I described it as “kind of like a slightly more psychedelic and proggy version of latter day sludgified Cave In (Perfect Pitch Black, White Silence),” and yeah, I’m gonna stick with that. The PRP called it “a high energy stampede of squealing proggy riffs, gutsy low end and a veritable cinderblock tornado of percussion,” and yup, that’s highly accurate too. This stuff has BALLS. It’s good. You will like. Kip W. likes it too!
