Are we really already on year four of Metal Alliance Tours? Hard to believe seeing as the tour’s first incarnation — featuring Helmet, Saint Vitus, Crowbar, Kylesa, Red Fang, Howl and The Atlas Moth — is still so fresh on our minds. Yet it’s true, and in that time span the tour has grown into the most anticipated of the spring metal touring season.

And so, here’s this year’s lineup, presented by Indie Merch: Behemoth, Goatwhore, 1349, Inquisition and Black Crown Initiate. Yowza! Another great lineup. Really there is not a bad bunch in this bunch, or even a mediocre band: better start training your bladder now, because there aren’t gonna be any automatic piss breaks and you know you’re gonna wanna throw back a couple.

This tour will be Behemoth’s first North American headline run (or run of any kind) in support of their new album The Satanist (out February 4th), and includes six Canadian dates and a stop at the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest. 50 VIP tickets in each market are available starting at 10am EST today at this link; each VIP ticket holder will get a 30 minute meet & greet with all of the bands, a bottle of High River Sauces, a limited edition 11×17 poster, a Metal Alliance 4 beer koozie and a VIP Laminate. General Admission tickets will be available at a later date.
