Protest the Hero Middle Finger

Adolescents and adult men unable to grow facial hair: do not be dismayed by the above photo! Even if you can’t (or won’t… but why wouldn’t you???) grow a beard, I’m sure that the prog-metal titans in Protest the Hero would be thrilled if you’d attend their upcoming tour. I mean, they’re super cool dudes, not The Arcade Fire, so I can’t imagine there’s some dumb dress code. In fact, you could probably go to a Protest the Hero show dressed as an Arcade Fire fan and not get hassled, whereas if you went to an Arcade Fire show dressed as a Protest the Hero fan, you’d probably get a lot of nasty glares (or you’d be praised for your skill as ironist; I’m not sure).

In any case, Protest the Hero are great, and they put on an amazing show, and the support acts for this just-announced tour are rad, too: fans in the U.S. get Battlecross, The Safety Fire, Intervals, and Night Verses, fans in Canada get Intervals and Motorleague, and fans in shortbuses get Digital Bummer. So it’s an all-around win for everyone!

Dates are below. My sincerest apologies for all the caps lock. That’s how it came in the press release and I’m too lazy to change it.
